Tonight we quickly run through the story to the point of Noah, and look at how sin and the defilement of humanity survived the flood. But God has a plan for salvation, and that is more important! And we will start to answer questions like who believers are in Christ Jesus, why we are more than conquerers when we are in Him!

God Works in Cycles:

We learn His response by studying the past.

He tells us the future through verifiable prophesy.

Each of these cycles starts with a fall & ends with the Judgement of God.

With humanity, God saves His image bearers through His Mercy and Grace.

Satan Falls to Pride:

A. Satan's 5 "I Wills."

1. Ascend into heaven

2. Exalt his throne above the stars of God (Angels / take Michael's position)

3. Sit upon the Mount of Congregation (where God meets with His divine counsil)

4. Above the heights of the clouds (the Shekinah Glory of God)

5. Be like the Most High

B. Satan removed from his post by God (cast down).

Humanity Falls to Deception:

C. God creates humans in His image (Genesis 1:26-27, 2:4-24) and Satan is jealous.

D. Satan steals dominion through a deception (Genesis 3:1-5).

E. Adam & Eve become mortal - sin entered their identity (Genesis 3:6-7).

F. God brings judgement against humanity, and prophesies the serpent to be defeated by humanity (Genesis 3:15).

G. Satan begins to kill humanity to preempt defeat [Cain & Abel] (Genesis 4:8).

H. God protects Cain, but makes him an outcast (Genesis 4:10-16). Humanity proliferates (Genesis 1:25-26).

Sons of God Fall to Temptation:

I. Satan tempts the Sons of God (Genesis 6:1-5), who are the watcher angels.

J. Human DNA becomes further defiled when the Nephaliem are born (Genesis 6:4-7, 11-12).

Nephal: Strong's Number: 5307 - to fall, lie, be cast down, fail.

K. Sons of God are bound in eternal chains until the day of Judgement (Jude 1:6-7).

L. The wickedness of mankind was great on the earth, God determines to wipe out all life (Genesis 6:5-7).

M. Noah is found to be the only one who is "blameless in his generation" (Genesis 6:8-9).

God Saves through Noah:

N. Noah's geneology tells the Gospel of Christ Jesus (Genesis ch.5).

O. God tells Noah a flood is necessary (Genesis 6:13).

P. Noah's family 8-people are saved [Salvation by Grace of God] (Genesis 6:18).

Five - cross, grace, atonement. This could include, for example, the fivefold ministry gifts.

Eight - New beginning. [Examples: Genesis 17:10-12, 1 Peter 3:20]

Fourty = 5 x 8, or the New Hope through the Grace, Atoneent, & Cross.

Humanity Continues to Fall to Rebellion:

Q. The 'nephaliem gene' survives the flood.

R. Ham is the father of Cush, Mizraim, Put, Canaan (Genesis 10:6-7).

Cush was father of Nimrod, Satan’s warrior king & Tower of Babel (Genesis 10:8-12).

Put becomes ancient Egypt, Horus, Osiris, Isis, & polytheistic religion.

Canaan, giants in promised land, Nephilim descendants (Numbers 13:25 – 14:12).

David kills Goliath. This is one of the last examples of giants (1 Samuel 17).

S. God the Father continues to save humanity through dispensations:

Dispensation - Judgement - Salvation

Innocence - Adam & Eve become mortal and expelled from Garden of Eden - Not killed by God (Genesis 3:22-24)

Conscience - Flood - Noah (Genesis chapters 6-9)

Human Government - Disbursement of Babel - Noah through Shem to Abraham (Genesis 11:10-26).

Promise - Plagues in Egypt - Moses leads the Jew across the Red Sea Exodus ch. 14).

Law - Northern Kingdom by Assyrians, Southern Kingdom 70 A.D. by Nero - Jesus

God Preserves of the Jews

35 This is what the Lord says,

He who gives the sun for light by day

And the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night,

Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar—

The Lord of armies is His name:

36 “If this fixed order departs

From Me,” declares the Lord,

“Then the descendants of Israel also will cease

To be a nation before Me forever.”

37 This is what the Lord says:

“If the heavens above can be measured

And the foundations of the earth searched out below,

Then I will also reject all the descendants of Israel

For everything that they have done,” declares the Lord.

Note that God does not make a claim of righteousness for the Jews.

Verse 37 calls out, "for everything that they have done..."

We too have sinned against our Heavenly Father.

"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," Romans 3:23 NASB

Satan Persecutes the Jews:

- Because they are the image bearars of God.

- Because they are God's chosen people.

- Because Messianic Jews are one of the two witnesses.

- But even more, because if Satan destroyes the Jews, God will not be God.

- Satan wants to be as the Most High, this is still his goal.

- Look at the persecution during WWII.

- Satan will try harder destroying 1/3 of the Earth's population in the Tribulation (Revelation 9:13-21).

Satan Persecutes Christians:

- Because they are the image bearars of God.

- Because they are God's chosen people.

- Because Gentile Disciples are the other of the two witnesses.

- But even more, because Christians are called to witness the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19).

Satan Persecutes the Rest of Humanity:

- Because they are the image bearars of God.

UNLESS they have already turned from God.

Then Satan uses them to accomplish his goals.

Being IN Christ Jesus

Before receiving Jesus:

- Your spirit man is dead. You will suffer the second death (Revelation 2:11).

- You sin out of ignorance, and will need to defend yourself (Revelation 20:11-15).

- You self-identify with your humanity FIRST, and are ignorant of your sin.

"I'm a [fill in the blank] man / woman / person."

When you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior:

- The Holy Spirit fuses to your spirit man, giving you the Living Power of God!

- Your sin is paid, and you participate in the first resurrection (Revelation 20:6).

- You self-identify with your spirity man FIRST, sin by choice and repent with a humble heart.

"I'm a child of God. Thank you Jesus for paying my debt, for your divine Mercy and Grace."
