The Grass Isn't Always Greener - March 19, 2019

Lesson Video on YouTube:

Our God is a great story teller. I love the way that He teaches His truth using stories we can understand, and by giving us analogies that we can relate to - even if the things He is teaching us are beyond what we can fully understand. He teaches us what we can come to understand.

In this lesson we look at the metaphor of land used in the Bible. How places like "Egypt," "the Land of Israel," or the "Promised Land," or places like "Moab," instruct us about our relationship with God. The false gods, fallen angels, the all lie. Many people spend their life trying to learn from these false gods, but the only source of truth is Christ Jesus. We need to learn to rest in our relationship with Him. This truth and peace is something that no other god can offer.
