Who We Are In Christ - The New Covenant Us, May 12th, 2020

Lesson on YouTube: https://youtu.be/WqEnr3GwUxw

Lesson by: Pastor George

When Jesus said He was making us a new creation He wasn't kidding! He is the Word, written on our hearts. His Spirit is fused to ours. Jesus lives in our heart. And He is remodeling us into what He intended when we were created. And through His grace and supernatural power we KNOW Him. And in relationship with Him we can WALK IN LOVE with others. And as He loved us, we can love others, through forgiveness, mercy, grace, and love.

2 Corinthians 5:21 NKJV https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2+Corinthians+5%3A21&version=NKJV For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. Galatians 5:25-26 NIV https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Galatians+5%3A25-26&version=NIV 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other. Hebrews 8:7-13 NIV https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Hebrews+8%3A7-13&version=NIV 7 For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another. 8 But God found fault with the people and said[a]: “The days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah. 9 It will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they did not remain faithful to my covenant, and I turned away from them, declares the Lord. 10 This is the covenant I will establish with the people of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. 11 No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest. 12 For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”[b] 13 By calling this covenant “new,” he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear. John 13:34 NIV https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John+13%3A34&version=NIV 34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2+Corinthians+5%3A17&version=NIV 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:[a] The old has gone, the new is here! Ephesians 4:24 NIV https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ephesians+4%3A24&version=NIV 24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. John 14:26 AMP https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John+14%3A26&version=AMP 26 But the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will help you remember everything that I have told you. John 3:3-6 NIV https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John+3%3A3-6&version=NIV 3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” 4 “How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!” 5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.
